For nearly 60 years, United Cerebral Palsy of Oklahoma — now Ability Connection Oklahoma (ACOK)— has been a safety net for Oklahomans of all ages with physical disabilities.
United Cerebral Palsy of Oklahoma, Inc. (UCPOK) was organized in 1957, and incorporated in 1963, to take a leadership role in advocating for individuals with cerebral palsy and other disabilities and their families; and to provide information to educate and inform the general public to further their understanding of the issues that affect these individuals and families.
In 1995, an office was opened in Tulsa to help facilitate programs and services in that area of Oklahoma. The Warren Foundation provides the Tulsa office rent and utilities.
In 2012, our name was changed to Ability Connection Oklahoma. Our time-honored tradition of providing programs and services for Oklahomans with physical disabilities and their families remains the same.
